Whether or not Driscoll should be critiquing Joel Osteen in a sermon is not the point. Pastor Osteen has been plastered over every Christian, and recently, NON Christian media outlet for the last few weeks. He is, for many people, the poster child for Christianity. We do have a responsibility to defend THE FAITH (Jude 3) and to make sure that we don't have a false gospel (Gal 6) being perpetuated among the masses. Listen to Mark D's critique. The most poignant warning he gives is that no matter how you define the joyful or fulfilling life, make sure it's big enough to include Jesus.
