Highway Missions (Foreign)
The members of Damascus Road Church believe we are sent into the world...to proclaimthe gospel...and to teach people to live like Jesus.
The word "Sent" reminds us that building a community of believers has a purpose-it is a means to an end, not the end in itself. Sometimes, however, we confuse church for the mission. The church does not have a mission, the mission has a church.
Our newly formed missions department seeks to take our mission globally. The primary goal of this department is: to glorify God by restoring hope, dignity, and love to the needy around the world.
To accomplish this locally, we will partner with organizations and ministries already active in the community.
To accomplish this, we will partner with PILGRIM in support both locally and internationally that our common love for Christ through missionswould be served and actualized.
